We are going to be releasing a new version of Zosh soon and we’d like to invite you to participate in the beta program. This program isn’t for everyone however. We are seeking out those who are regular users of Zosh, who are technically savvy and who would be willing to provide timely feedback. If you are interested, please head over and fill out our beta application: Beta Signup Form. Not all applicants will be accepted as we have a limited number of open slots.

Zosh is now an Apple Staff Favorite!
Apple iPhone Touches and iPhones were clearly popular this holiday season with shoppers flocking away from devices like the Amazon Kindle for the more versatile Apple products. Why buy an electronic book reader that can only be an electronic book reader when you can get an one that is also a video game player, movie player, business tool, camera and so much more?
Now that you’ve got your new iPhone, how are you going to wade through those 100,000 plus apps on the App Store to find the truly great applications? You can read reviews on blogs, there are plenty of those, or you can just take the advice of Apple employees who regularly pick out their favorite apps in the “Staff Favorites” section right on the main iTunes App Store page.
Zosh is now a Staff Favorite, one of the 32 applications that Apple is promoting on the store. We are honored to become a staff favorite, thanks Apple!
Zosh now supports new document types!

We just started beta testing new document formats for Zosh. To get your documents into the app, you email them to mydocs@zosh.com. Previously, Zosh only supported PDF documents. Now we’ve added several new documents types including the much requested Microsoft Word format. These are the new supported document types:
- Microsoft Word (doc, docx)
- Microsoft Excel (xls, xlsx)
- Microsoft Powerpoint (ppt, pptx)
- Images (gif, png, jpg, jpeg, bmp, tiff)
The new formats might have issues which is why we are keeping them in beta until we are sure that they are reliable. If you run into any issues using them, please contact us at support@zosh.com.
Revision 3’s App Judgment reviews Zosh
Zosh was just reviewed by Revision 3’s App Judgment a video review site dedicated to mobile apps. The review is the first video review for Zosh and in the end, the team at App Judgment decided that if you regularly need to sign and return documents then you should download it.
It doesn’t look like App Judgement readers saw our Fax Dance blog entry in which I foretell the demise of the fax machine based on the success of Zosh.
Annie does a great job covering the basics of Zosh. She thinks the concept is strong, the execution is good and it is easy to use. She also notes that there are some limitations including the fact that it only supports PDF documents. What Annie didn’t know at the time of the review is that we just launched beta support for Word, Excel, Powerpoint, JMP, BMP, PNG and GIF documents. The other limitation in her view was the $2.99 price for an app that excels at only one thing. It is true that Zosh isn’t for everyone, but if you do sign and return documents fairly regularly, the $2.99 price tag is quickly recouped in fees that you’d normally spend at Kinko’s or on paper and toner.

Mobile Crunch: Zosh best iPhone Apps of November!
Zosh just made the 2nd ever Mobile Crunch “Apps of the Month.” This is a new series from Mobile Crunch (the mobile division of Tech Crunch) dedicated to profiling the iPhone apps that you should actually buy. Getting rid of the hype surrounding iPhone apps is no easy task, but Gagan Biyani the author of this new series took it on and said that:
Gagan went on to write that that signature screen was extremely well done and was actually at a loss for words to describe how our patent pending motion technology moves the background as you sign so that you can essentially increase the size of the signature pad to be larger than the actual iPhone screen. He tells his readers to just try it to fully understand. He sums up his reason for choosing Zosh by saying:
We couldn’t agree more. Zosh is being used increasingly by people to free themselves from the fax dance and get more done in a quicker, more efficient, and cost effective manner.
You can read more on Zosh and see the other apps that made list on Mobile Crunch.
